This video of a project we recently completed for coating removal from a ship deck. This is suitable for both steel and aluminium decking. The enclosed shot blasting machine can be operated alongside other workers without disturbing them.
The machine is under constant vacuum to provide dust free operation. Abrasive is automatically recycled and reused. The abrasive consumption is very very low. During recycling all dust, paint chips and pulverised coating are removed and deposited into a waste bin for disposal.
This project was removing 1mm thick polyurethane coating with a blasting production speed of 60m2/hr.
